Local Board of Administrators (Elders)

Our local church is governed by our LBA. These are the Elders of our church. The Scripture tells us the following about the Elders of the church in

1 Timothy  3:1-7

"This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil."

Dave Ferree -Vice Chair

Hello everyone! My name is Dave Ferree and my wife, Lynne, and I have made Carson City our home since 1988. I was born in Alhambra Ca. and spent the next 31 years in Southern California. I've been 'retired' since 2011 which gives me a lot of time to joyfully work for the Lord now at Hope Crossing Community Church. The Lord Jesus called me to himself at the young age of 7. Afterward, I could be found walking myself to church every Sunday morning in the only suit I've ever owned! The Good Lord called me early in life and has never left my side!

My name is Donna Ice.

My husband and I moved to Northern Nevada in 2018.

We have been married for 35 years and have a 31-year-old son, Rik, who is a youth pastor.

I came to the Lord at a Billy Graham crusade in 1985. He explained the relationship between the Lord and His children and changed my heart.

I am currently in my final year of my clinical degree, working towards becoming a therapist. I plan to work as a counselor in a faith-based organization.

I thirst to learn more and more each day about Christ, my Lord and Savior.

Nancy Teas-Quinn

Hey!!  I moved to Carson City January 2016 from Sarasota FL to be close to my daughter Stephanie, her husband Kevin, and grandson Jackson who is now 13!  Time flys.

When I was 7 I told the Minister of my church I wanted to become a member.  He should have let me be an honorary member!  I am thankful the Lord has never left me, although I did leave him for a while.  Thankfully the Lord has open arms.

In 2024 I retired from Carson Tahoe Hospital.
