We believe that we are saved by grace alone (sola gratia) through faith alone (sola fide).
Scripture teaches the following in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Salvation by grace alone through faith alone
We believe that we are saved by grace alone (sola gratia) through faith alone (sola fide).
Scripture teaches the following in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Roman's Road to Salvation
This means that we all have sins, both actively and passively through our original parents Adam and Eve. We are all born with a sin nature and cannot be in the presence of God due to that sin.
2. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
This means that the consequences of our sin is death, not only physical death, which entered the world through "original sin", but spiritual death, an eternal separation from God. The Good News is that God made a provision for us to be reunited with Him, through the willing sacrifice of Jesus Christ. All we must do to receive this grace is to acknowledge that we are sinners, ask for forgiveness and repent and ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior of our lives.
3. Romans 5:8 "But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Did you catch that? While we were yet sinners (God's enemies) He sent His son Jesus to die for the penalty for our sins, so that we do not have to be eternally separated from Him.
4. Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Our required response for salvation is confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. That's it, no magic words, baptism doesn't save you (although we are to obey this command) Good works won't save us, we are saved so that we may do good works that God has prepared for us as found in James 2:14. This is another way to show that we are saved!
5. Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
This verse assures us that anyone who calls on Jesus for salvation will be saved, emphasizing the inclusivity of God's offer of grace. It is available to EVERYONE, yet not everyone will accept this grace.

Dear Father God,
I know that I am a sinner and am worthy of the punishment of death and separation from you forever. I repent of my sin and wish to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of my life. I turn to you and thank you that He has paid the penalty for my sins. Please help me to live as Jesus did. Amen
